pregnancy vs irregular periods

hi i’m a 17 year old girl who’s sexually active and i had recently been taken off birth control in november, i haven’t had my period in 2 months until yesterday because i took the pill again but my blood is brown is there a possibility that i might be pregnant or is it just my body readjusting to the pills?
