My first baby was 8 months when I got pregnant with my June baby and I stopped nursing at 14 months because I could no longer do it without feeling uncomfortable.

I breastfed my first while I was pregnant with my June 2020 baby. He self-weaned when I was around 5 months along because I guess it changed taste and he no longer liked it

My son was about 18 months when he self weaned and I was about 6 months pregnant at that point. My dr and midwife told me that I could nurse until I gave birth. The milk would eventually turn back into colostrum as the due date approached. 
My son self weaned because my milk took on a salty taste as I got further along.
