So my boyfriend broke up with me because I lied about my virginity(lost it to him) but we are still talking. I saw him for the weekend(stayed with him for 4 days) and noticed certain things about him. Idk if it’s because we don’t talk everyday anymore but his jokes don’t seem funny to me anymore lol. According to him I need to loosen him because he’s joking, which I agree because I feel myself taking certain things he says literally. For instance, he made a joke about my improper English and asked if he could punch my English teacher. I didn’t mind that funny because I was embarrassed. I expressed my feelings and he said that it wasn’t his intention to bring me down...joking is part of who he is and he doesn’t want to be walking on eggshells around me. Another thing was he paid for my food and I said thank you. He goes “thought I’d offer but you should pay sometimes” mind you he makes way more than I do. Plus I’m trying my best to save my money to move to his state. I understand that he lets me stay over his apartment and he does pay when we go out. After that I paid for us the next day and ubered to the airport. He goes “I appreciate you paying..I feel like a king.” Am I be dramatic??
