February baby turned into January baby ❤️
My due date was originally 2/7/21. I didn’t really have any signs of labor coming other than feeling low. 6 am on January 29th (38wks 5days) I woke up and my water broke. I was having very mild contractions some weren’t even painful. Got to labor and delivery around 730 am and was admitted once they confirmed my water did break. I was checked and was 3cm dilated, 80% effaced, and -2 station. Because my contractions were far apart, they decided to put me on Pitocin. By 10:00am I was in my room and on Pitocin. They started me on a very low dose. I was checked about a hour and a half later and was at a 5. About 20 mins after my contractions were pretty intense although still bareable. I decided to get an epidural. I was checked around 1:40pm and was still at a 5. They upped the Pitocin. At 234pm I felt a ton of pressure and was checked again and I was fully 10 cm and ready to push. The first push, her head came out. The next push her shoulders and body came right out. I had no tearing. Eliana Michelle was born at 2:38 pm weighing 7lbs 6cm and 19.5 inches long. One of my best labors!
