Did you feel a ‘spark’ with your SO first time or did it take a while?

People talk about love at first sight or feeling a spark immediately meeting their partner for the first time, have you guys experienced that or did a while too feel it/ know that they are the one for you?

No. Lol It was lust at first sight 😂 I honestly didn't see myself being with him long term. We dated on/off for a few months before we decided to make it official. We've been together for 11.5 years & married for 8! 💕

Depends on what you mean by “spark” I guess. 🤔 I thought he was adorable, we clicked well, and we hung out for almost 7 hours on our first date cuz neither of us could shut up lol. There def wasn’t some magical spark tho. Never felt “love at first sight” (which I don’t believe in), and I didn’t know he was “the one”. I just knew he was attractive and I had a blast with him. And that was enough for me!! Things got a lot more fun and comfortable on our second date since the nerves had calmed down slightly. The second date was when I really felt that “spark” I guess. We watched a movie and he put his arm around me and my stomach FLIPPED. There was lots of chemistry, and I was just so happy to see we were both so into each other so soon. We have been together almost 9 months now and are very happy. 🥰

Yes and no.    I crushed hard on him at first he thought I was ok.  Then disliked me.  I had another boyfriend and we got to be friends for several years.  My ex and I broke up.  My husband and I started just talking more and then decided to kinda explore a relationship and the rest is history lol. Married with 2 kiddos now

Yes and no. I went back to my ex cause my ex was familiar to me and I was scared of being with someone new. But every time I looked at him I knew he was the one, it just scared the hell out of me to admit it. Been together for 5 years now and about to get married and been talking about getting pregnant soon

I met my husband on an app and talked to him for a month before we met. When I first SAW him, there was something but it wasn’t super noticeable. I found a quote later on that described it “It wasn’t love at first sight, it was familiarity. Like ‘oh it’s you. It’s going to be you.’”
Our first date was the first time I ever got home and just felt GOOD. Not just like I had fun which I had felt plenty of times after dates but like he just always has the best vibe about him. Plus he hugged me and instead of tensing or going side-hug or prickling like I normally did when guys would do that, I remember thinking “oh! this is nice...”

The first time I saw him in person I was hooked. I knew in my gut he was it for me. 
Within a week we were official. Within a month he moved from Louisiana to TX so he could be with me. Within a year we were married. 
It’s been almost 5 years of marriage and yes I would say love at first sight for us.
