How late is too late?

Hey! I'm on a birth control pills that are on a 28 day cycle (21, 7) and I take it everyday at 8 am, no fail. Until these past 2 morning when I've taken it at 9:50 then 10:50. 😟 So my question is, what is the time frame from when you normally take it (for me, 8 am), is it still effective? Was 9:50/10:50 too late?

I always used to panic about this until I got the implant! If you're on the POP then it's a 12 hour window and if you're on the combined then it's no more than 3, you'll be fine don't worry

I'm not sure specifically what pill you are on, but a 3hr window is a good rule to go by. To get a more specific answer, read the package insert that comes w your birth control

I personally take mine ~10pm. The time I wake up always varies, but I'm pretty consistent on when I go to sleep.
