Funny turn
So about 5pm I took a funny turn and felt very dizzy and lightheaded. I waited a while but it didn’t get any better so I called the midwifery unit and they said to have something to eat and drink and lay down for an hour and if i still felt dizzy to call back. An hour went by and I still felt horrible so I had to go to the emergency triage at my local hospital. My blood pressure was elevated when I arrived and I have high protein and traces of blood in my urine but everything else checked out ok. My blood pressure after an hour had gone down too. They’ve said they will send away my urine to be tested to confirm the exact amount of protein and to see if I have a possible urine infection and if so will get antibiotics but if I hear nothing it’s fine. Other than that they couldn’t suggest why I have been dizzy for about 5 hours now. Has anyone else experienced this? This is my third pregnancy and I haven’t had this before. Thankfully my kids were able to stay at my parents as even though on lockdown it’s childcare. I wouldn’t have managed to take care of them whilst so dizzy as I vomited just standing up. So worried it’s the start of preeclampsia which is terrifying when only 26 weeks.
