My husband and I are 20 and 21, we’re having our second child any day now, we have a 14 month old son but this whole pregnancy he’s been talking about not having anymore children and or getting a vasectomy which I’ve had a hard time with as I would like another child in the next five years or less. But as these last 2-3 months have gone by I just hated being pregnant and thought about just asking my midwife if we can go ahead and just do a complete hysterectomy or tie my tubes instead of trying to make the decision for birth control. I’ve only thought about the hysterectomy since my mom had ovarian and endometrial cancer and I have to get tested for the marker anyways so why not just take everything out to lower the risk of at least one of the two cancers. I’m just not sure especially with baby girl coming any day.
