Medicaid help TEXAS

Hello so this is embarrassing but last year I got pregnant by a guy i met at a bar and I literally wasn’t sure if he was the father or not. I lost contact with him. So for Medicaid i said I didn’t know who the father was. When my baby was born he came around and i know he’s the father because it just adds up, so he signed the AOP and is on my sons birth certificate and he has his last name. So now he’s around.

Medicaid has sent me a form asking for info on the “absent parent” so now that he’s present in my sons life, will putting his information get me in trouble?

Will I be forced to open a child support case? He’s helped me so much with money so I don’t want to open a case as we’ve come to an agreement.

Will they take away my sons Medicaid? He’s only 3 months.

Ive also been reading that he’ll have to pay everything Medicaid paid for during my pregnancy and birth..

Anyone know anything?
