Bad eczema

Bella

I'm honestly at a loss right now. I'm having a bad eczema flare up on my face and its super hot itchy dry and flaky and I can hardly move my face. I could barely talk this morning without being in pain unless I have an ice pack on my face so I had to call into work. I went to a dermatologist and he gave me a cream pimecrolimus and it helped last time but it's doing nothing after fourth day of use (keep in mind even after the second day it usually makes a difference) An ice pack doesn't help too much now and a cool shower does just it's so damn cold even when its lukewarm my whole body is freezing. Any lotion hurts and makes it more inflamed and I dont know what to do. I want to cry so bad at times but it hurts to cry. Does anyone have any tips? If it wasnt my face I know it wouldnt be so bad and I could use a stronger steroid and do a wet wrap but thats really dificult

The only thing that cleared mine was a steroid shot called a kenalog shot I think

Eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions are stress related, diet related, they are triggered by things in your life that are external usually. Try cutting out dairy and gluten it is beneficial and will definitely help, maybe you could try Neosporin with pain relief since it’s so bad right now, definitely cutting out gluten and dairy will be beneficial. , i’m trying to reduce your stress levels as best as you can, maybe try yoga, deep breathing, or other methods of relaxation to maintain your stress levels so that you don’t get flareups more often. I’m sorry you’re suffering right now. But I hope things get better

Thank you! I'll definitely do that. I already have a stomach sensitivity to dairy so I'll just cut it out and I'll try figure something out for gluten
