Vegan tooth remineralisation
Please give me your tips...
I was vegan for several years but went back to lacto vegetarianism (dairy but no eggs) because I had bad tooth decay despite eating a clean vegan diet.
In the last fortnight I’ve tried to return to veganism and now I’m encountering the same problem. I can feel it really affecting my teeth! I’m shocked at how quickly I can feel this issue return, after just two weeks. (I guess I have sensitive teeth.)
There is a tooth remineralisation protein in dairy called casein and it seems that vegan food technology hasn’t moved on since I was last a vegan. I was hoping I’d find something that could help?
Please let me know what vegan remineralisation tips you use for your teeth. Any special toothpastes? Does clay toothpaste help? Really, anything.
I have tried rinsing my teeth with water after every meal, and have also tried delayed brushing. I’ve tried various vitamin supplements too...
I live in Europe.
