I need a few Mirena success stories. I have my insertion today and I am terrified. Not just about having it inserted, but so terrified of it affecting my hormones badly or making me anxious or something. I suffered from postpartum anxiety with my first baby and I just don’t want birth control to affect my mood. At the same time, I am definitely not trying to get pregnant! I’m breastfeeding too right now so my Dr said this was a good option.
