I made a post a couple days ago about this . I’m sorry if this is the wrong group I just don’t know where to go for help.

On Monday I got a UTI after trying to conceive the night before. We showered before, and immediately after, and I did urinate after . I’ve had a history of UTI’s so we immediately act on cleansing ourselves right away to avoid more hospital visits.

Well I still ended up with a UTI, but since I took Uristat Ultra my urine didn’t test positive for a UTI. So they tested me for BV (Bacterial Vaginosis), and that also came out negative but the swab had orange dye on it so I think the dye affected my results .

Dr still gave me antibiotics for 10 days to treat the UTI, and phenazopyridine (the orange dye stuff) for 2 days for relief. It’s been 4 days now and (TMI) but I’ve always felt this slight itch feeling deep inside my vagina since Monday when I went to urgent care for the UTI. Today it’s itching a bit more.

What can it be? It doesn’t itch outside my vagina, or when I pee. It doesn’t hurt either but it’s uncomfortable . I’ve never had itching before and idk what to do. Will it go away?

My period is supposed to start today to so will that help since my body is cleansing itself?

Also, does anyone know anything I can eat or drink to stop the itch before it gets worse?

Symptoms with the UTI is burning when peeing, foul smell, peeing every couple seconds when I have no pee, and now feeling a little itch deep in there.

I don’t douche, don’t hold my pee in, I wipe front to back, shower everytime. It’s just always only after sex that I get UTI’s.
