Valentine's gift / craft
Hey all!
My boyfriend's been in our lives for 6 months and he loves my daughter (almost 3 year old) as his own. I swear she loves him more than me! They are the bestest friends and it makes me sooo happy. He has been actively involved in her life from the day he met her - which was about a couple weeks before we started dating.
This is his first valentines day with myself and my daughter. Is it too "presumptuous" to give him something for valentines day from her?? I see so many crafts surrounding "daddy" but honestly we have never had that conversation.
(Little tidbit! My daughter has special needs so she doesn't speak so its not one of those things where she calls him by his name or calls him daddy or anything)
Share your opinions and ideas please!!
**EDIT**
Someone commented about him potentially being a predator and how 6 months as my boyfriend isn't enough time for me to introduce him to her....I was not clear in the original post. This man I have known for 10 years. No we have not been crazy close all of those years. We really reconnected about a year ago. He didn't meet her for instance 2 years ago because he wasnt in the pictuee in that sense. But literally my mom and aunt are close with his mom and grandma. He wasn't a stranger off the street.
I never said she has to call him daddy. I simply said all the crafts surrounding this are daddy themed and I was looking for advice on
A) whether I should even do a valentines craft for him from her and
B) suggestions because everything is daddy themed so I'm looking for things that don't scream daddy.
