I personally think that everyone should at least try to have a natural birth. Its what our bodies were made to do.

I know natural birth is 'what our bodies were meant to do'. But our bodies also get headaches and menstrual cramps and we take Tylenol like candy to ease the discomfort. I guess my point is if there's no medical reason why you can't have it, why not have a relatively pain free pregnancy where you can focus more on the excitement of meeting your baby rather than the panic of pain? I have an incredibly high tolerance for pain and I feel no shame in saying I'd prefer an epidural over natural delivery. I was relaxed, still really nervous, but as comfortable as you can expect be when delivering. I mean if you just want to do it natural, more power to you, but I don't think it makes you any more or any less of a woman or a mom if you don't. The fact that another human came out of you at all is all you need to say #mompower.

I had an all natural water birth with my daughter 5 yrs ago and I plan to do the same in May with my second daughter! The feeling of overcoming something so traumatic is an accomplishment I wish every woman could experience! Knowing that you did what your body is made to do, completely by yourself is so incredibly empowering! #mompower!

I planned on doing it natural. But my cervix was tearing and that pain was unbearable at 2-3 cm.  So I got the epidural. Then my  bleeding from my cervix tearing got a lot worse so I had to have an emergency c section.
So plan for whatever you feel comfortable with, but don't be 100% set on it because you may leave yourself disappointed.

Tried to have a natural birth but I was high risk.... So I had to get the epidural =/

I made it to 8cm with back to back non stop contractions before i caved and got an epidural. This time my goal is to go all the way without one. Labor with my first lasted about 8 hours so hoping this one is quicker.

I've always had and will always have an epidural. I don't need to feel excruciating pain to enjoy having and seeing my baby for the first time. Also, my babies have never had any side effects or issues from me having pain medication in labor. Perfectly healthy babies. :)

I want to try natural but I'm terrified 😕 I have 2 already and I was induced and got epidural both times, I know they say labor is worse when you're induced vs when you go on your own but who knows. I'm going to try to go natural but I don't want to get past the point of an epidural and panic due to the pain
