Is it technically okay to put my son on a schedule if I'm giving him bottles during the day? I breastfeed through the night, but have been bottle feeding during the day to keep track of how much he's getting because we have had issues getting him to gain weight. I'd like to maybe put a schedule in place to have structure for the both of us since my husband is out of town. I never tried to set a routine because I knew you aren't really supposed to put breastfed babies on a routine and let them eat when they want, but since it's breast milk in a bottle is that okay?
