We realized quickly that a rat had made it way into our house, tried rat traps but the rat would just take the bait without setting off the trap. So we reluctantly used poison. Now it’s somewhere in our walls or ceiling and it STINKS something horrible. There isn’t any way to get to it so what can I do to mask/get rid of the smell?! It’s not unbearable but we smell it when we first walk in the door. I’ve went through ab 6 12 packs of wax cubes (I have 4 burners) within 3 days. Any tips will help.

EDIT: My cat found it somewhere and left it on my front porch. Problem solved.
