Tummy tuck?

Has anyone gotten one post c section ? Was it done at the same time ? Was it the same doctor doing the c section ? How much extra did you pay for it ?

They won’t do it during the c-section. Tummy tuck is plastic surgery not obstetrics. You have to fully recover from the c-section before you can have plastic surgery. Everything has to shrink back down first. Most insurances don’t cover elective plastic surgery. I looked into it a bit after our second was born and it’s around $10K. It’s a pretty brutal surgery too. I talked to my OB about it and she said it’s rough with a hip to hip incision.

I’ve had 2 tummy tucks (2016 and 2017) . It is possible to have c-section and tummy tuck at the same time BUT it’s really hard to find a doctor who would do that.
