My beautiful 6 month old and postpartum :)
I just wanted to write a post to say motherhood is extremely hard but so rewarding. My postpartum journey has been far from easy! Legend had a terrible dairy and soy allergy that started about 2 months in to say the least he was in so much pain and cried all day and night. My husband and i was all out of answers after countless trips to the Er and 3 doctors saying it was colic and postpartum depression we finally found a doctor who believed us! After 6 months of breastfeeding and completely cutting dairy and soy out of my diet! My beautiful boy is finally out of excruciating pain and happy healthy and hitting milestones! Anyways with Covid postpartum has been lonely friends have stopped checking on us, not being able to see many family members because they are out of state and with
I’m my husband being an essential worker and working 11 hour days with me being at home has been sad some days but i look at him and it’s so rewarding! If there’s people out there who feel alone i started a mom group for support called growing legends i can add you to it and i promise to be more active!
I think it’s important to be transparent about postpartum and not make it seem like every experience is perfect and it doesn’t mean you love your beautiful baby any less!!
Here is my happy healthy baby that I’m so proud of! And me going 6 months strong of breast feeding and pumping didn’t think i would make it!
