I want to tell my sister but not sure if that’s best. Who knows you’re ttc? And why? Thanks💕

A lot of people. Many friends, all family, my boss, coworkers. I don't think infertility is something I should have to stay silent about so we tell anyone we want.

I didn’t tell a soul until I had a loss. 
I didn’t want constant questions from people like , “are you pregnant yet ?” Or receive un-solicited tips, like “you need to do xyz” etc etc

My family is very....conservative...not sure if that’s the best word to explain them 😂 If they would’ve known I was TTC I would’ve been ripped into and bashed. So after I got pregnant I was like “Oh nooooo the birth control didn’t work I’m in the 1% that this happens tooooooo.” Played that game until my daughter was born now they all adore her and I’m like “yeah I got my BC out over a year ago and we absolutely planned this demon 100%.” 😂😂😂

No one, we’re just going to wait until we’re pregnant and then tell the world lol

My parents, sister & her hubby, 2 best friends, 2 close family friends, and my husband’s parents and sibling (plus SIL). And actually...both of our bosses know too. I guess we never intended it to be so many people knowing our business- but no body brings it up or asks questions unless we bring it up first. It’s been a tough road for us, so people have just incidentally found out over the last year and a half. It’s also helpful to have the support. Our bosses know because there have been times that we haven’t been able to make a meeting because of some fertility appointment, etc. Probably not something most people would share with so many people- but for us, it’s been helpful to let other people were struggling (and we are very close with our families).

One friend knew, and that was it, thank goodness. After years of trying, the last thing we needed was people asking how fertility treatments were going nonstop... especially when they failed.

My BFF & 1 of my sisters (the other is 16) and also my mother in law cause my hubby told her. 
I’m a pretty private person so just these 3 knowing is a bit much for me it it feels better to have their support.

I ended up telling a coworker about it bc I was not sure whether I should get the covid shot and I needed to test quick when it became available (im an essential worker at a hospital). I needed to tell someone at that moment - I felt too isolated, i guess. Otherwise my sister, and 3 friends know. Aside from my partner who also knows 😊

I never really told anyone we were TTC. We just left it open-ended, that we were ready for children whenever. Which we were. My close family knew after about two years that we were Actively TTC.
