Help!!

So I'm talking to a guy and he wants me Be commited and try things with him, I agreed and were trying things, thanksgiving morning he surprised me and showed up to my house, he said he wanted to say happy thanksgiving and see me before we started the day with our families. So cute!!!!, right? I found out he hooked up with this girl he was previously talking to RIGHT before he came over!!!! He begged for forgiveness and told me he's done with that and he really really wants to try. I know how great we can be together if he would actually try but I don't know if he's going to. I don't know if I should try one more time or just give up. Any suggestions?
