How long after a D&C can I have sex again?

I my doctor didn't tell me anything either ! I'm just waiting till the bleeding stops .

My discharge papers said no sex until the bleeding stops. It was about two weeks in my case.

So I was not told anything, or more likely I was when I was still completely out of it from the anesthesia. So I called my doctor about a week later because I never heard from anyone about a fallow or anything, and they told me I was all set to do anything as normal and I didn't need to go back and see him for another 4 weeks! That may not be good advice to fallow but every doctor is different.

My doc said pelvic rest for 2 weeks.. I think we made it 5 days. But I wasn't bleeding or having any discomfort. At my 2 week check up, I told my doc that and he said that was fine. But like someone else said, every doctor is different and gives different instructions related to their patient..
