Bikini waxing?

Hey ladies. I am contemplating trying out getting a bikini wax but I am a little hesitant.  Currently I shave, however I have had issues with razor burn/discomfort when the pubic hair starts to grow back, which has made me consider waxing. Those who have tried it, how painful is it and would you recommend it?

Waxing is better that shaving and it’s not as painful as you would think. Recently I have been lasering my hair away and I like it so much more. Way less maintenance!

Waxing is great! And a bikini wax is only the stuff a bikini wouldn’t cover. So it’s almost nothing but the inside of your thighs. It works well cause it pulls the hair from the root making it grow back softer and thinner and not itchy. I recommend waxing for sure

I started sugaring (similar to waxing) for the same reason! I always got razor bumps and ingrown hairs when shaving, and with dark brown hair and pale skin it still never even looked that good, especially not with razor bumps. Sugaring is like waxing but it just adheres to the hair instead of the skin too, so it’s less painful. You’re still ripping hair out of your skin so it’s not a walk in the park lol, but it takes like 10-15 minutes and then looks great for weeks! Also, the first time is the worst. After that as long as you go regularly every 3-5 weeks it’s not so bad at all. I’ve been having it done for a few years now. Id love to have laser hair removal but that probably won’t happen for at least a few more years if ever lol.

Waxing is best. Yes it hurt some areas but you wont die so go for it. Much better than shaving and cream.
You might feel it more because you've been shaving but as you continue it will be better.

My sisters have sworn by this! They say it’s sooo much better than shaving. They had problems with shaving like the ones you’ve mentioned and more. They have tried to get me to try it. But honestly i don’t have any issues down there from shaving maybe because I use a good razor ?? I don’t know , so I’m sticking to shaving, also I don’t like the thought of exposing myself to any bacteria at a salon or having strangers down there if it isn’t my Ob or my man lol!

It honestly depends on how much hair you have and how thick it is. I have long hairs and the first one was excruciatinggggg. But, over time they became less painful and i get them every month. It’s definitely worth it to me. Sometimes people use numbing cream if they can’t handle the pain so you could consider that.
