Movements similar to breathing?

Question

Anyone else have their baby move for a couple hours and it looks snd feels like they are breathing? It’s very Rhythmic and not like hiccups which he has a lot and it mimics breathing but it’s not my breath and it’s kinda freaking me out a bit

Yess they are practicing breathing! I take that as a great sign. My first son did the same thing and he came out with strong lungs screaming 😂

My dr checks for my baby’s practice breathing every week at her ultrasounds. It’s an excellent sign that baby is well developed!!

I saw this in my ultrasound! Babies practice breathing motions in utero. The doctor said it exercises their diaphragm!

I’ve seen my babies practice breathing in there. It’s pretty neat to see my belly go up and down with it.

It could be them breathing!! Who knows, they actually do breathe in there. I think I know what
You mean, sometimes for me they actually are hiccups but sometimes they’re not and I don’t understand the rhythmic movement it’s like softer and slower than a hiccup. It might be them rocking themselves to sleep! No idea but let me know if you find out!
