Short cervix

I went in for my 28 week scan and glucose test today. My doctor told me my cervix is short and I need to watch for contractions. Unfortunately the lab came in to do my blood draw so I wasn’t able to ask questions. I left a voice mail when I got home but I likely won’t get a response until Monday. I do barre 2-3 times a week and I am a hairstylist so I am on my feet all weekend. Should I be doing anything different? Also we have a planned induction for 39 weeks. Is it likely I will make it that long? Much closest family is 1000 miles away so we are planning ahead for a sitter for my two year old. I was never able to feel any contractions with my son, I went in to get induced and my contractions were 3 minutes apart and I had no idea. I guess I’m worried about going into labor early and not realizing it.
