Clomid

Those of you who were prescribed with clomid by your doctors, do you have irregular cycles but still ovulated anyways? I wonder if my bbt showed I did ovulate between CD12-22, will doctor still consider clomid for me? TIA

I also used LH test strips and the Mira ovulation kit to track Ovulation. The Mira ovulation kit shows the exact amount of LH in your urine so you'll know your peak days. It worked great to help me track ovulation and synced the LH amount found in my urine to my phone each day I tested.

Some doctors will prescribe it even if you’re ovulating to boost your ovulation but they usually won’t until you’ve been ttc for a year.

I ovulate on my own and used both on different months but clomid worked better for me then letrozole. last year 6 months without meds ( not pregnant), 4 months on 50 mg clomid ( not pregnant) 3 months letrozole ( not pregnant), then tried 100 mg clomid in the beginning of January. It worked. 🤷 I was about to take a break from ttc'ing. It was stressing me out. Then bam 💥💥💥 Pregnant. I read if you ovulate on your own clomid is better then letrozole but I'd talk to doc about both. 🤷🥰

I had very irregular cycles (21-90+ days) but did ovulate. I did 4 rounds of Clomid. Clomid is prescribed for various reasons.

How long have you been trying more then likely they will still prescribe it.

If you have something like PCOS and you ha e BBT that shows you still ovulate, they will still consider prescribing it (or Letrozole). Clomid and Letrozole are basically to “boost” ovulation- even when you have signs of ovulation
