Fake contractions..?

Can someone please explain what fake contractions feel like I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my 1st baby boy! :) midwifes a snobby get hasn't explained anything to me so I don't know what to expect 😕 when did people experience there fake contractions & what did they feel like?

I didn't have any fake (Braxton Hicks) contractions with my first pregnancy, or at least if I did I didn't notice them. With this one I have them multiple times a day and it feels like my uterus is squeezing into a ball, and it can be lopsided at times. Don't worry too much about it. You'll know when it's fake and when it's not based on if there is a pattern and if there is pain, that's when you need to get to the hospital.

I've been having Braxton Hicks for a week (I'm 30 +2) At first, I thought my baby was 'balling up'. I even made my husband feel. It's was actually just my uterus getting hard on one side. That's what it has felt like for me.

Braxton hicks are real contractions. They are practice contractions.
Mine are either a tightening of my entire uterus usually after peeing or walking or sometimes the tightening isnt as strong but I get this anxious feeling in my chest and short of breath.
They can be uncomfortable but mine don't hurt.
I am 29 weeks and have had them properly about 2 months now but every one is different.

I started having them in my third tri with my first pregnancy now on my second they started at about 19 weeks I'm now 27 weeks and get them around maybe 8 to 10 a day my belly tightens up and I just breathe deeply because it kinda takes my breath away but do not hurt or last long at all

Feels like cramping in the abdomen at irregular intervals then just stops. I had Braxton hicks my first from 19 weeks on. This one they started about 25 weeks.
