Crown dental procedure safe ?

Question

Needing to have a crown done on one of my molars. Anyone know if this is safe unsafe? The only thing injected is local anaesthetic and no X-rays needed.

I had a crown done when I was pregnant with my first. They wanted me to wait until I was in the second trimester and not to far into the third. The reason for that was they wanted me far away from the nausea part of the beginning but not to big that staying in the chair for an hour would be hard on me.  Worth a mention to your OB but as long as the dentist knows then it’s fine. Oral care is super important when pregnant and getting a crown after baby is born would be tough.

Yes completely safe! Im a dental assistant so Im familar with protocols. Just make sure your dentist knows. They will give you a different type of anesthetic thats safe for pregnancy.

I had anesthesia twice for a broken tooth  at 13 weeks so yes.
