Hey! Are Any Moms Considering The Panorama Blood Test For Gender At 10 weeks?

My First Appt Is Weirdly At 10Weeks 4 Days And They Gave Me The Option To Have This Blood Test. I Did Opt In, Because Who Doesn’t Want To Know The Sex Lol. I Didn’t Even Know This Test Existed, But What Are Your Thoughts?

I’m doing the chromosomal testing and them finding out the sex is part of it. I’ll have the option of saying yes or no them telling me

I'm doing chromosome testing and they also do gender! I said yes for both. My husband is army and I thought it would help him with him being deployed! Otherwise with my first I didn't find out till 22 weeks. I think it fun and cool but I've also heard of it being incorrect sometimes so the gender will be staying between us until I get the 20 week scan

We didn’t just because insurance didn’t cover it and it was super expensive.

I wish, but its 600$ here and too expensive for me when the other types of screening are covered.

As others have pointed out the purpose of the test is to see if baby has any serious chromosomal abnormalities, it’s quite a stressful test and the purpose is not about the gender. Although if it’s after 11 weeks you can usually tell gender as the baby’s blood/dna is circulating in mums system. 
I think I’ll be doing it but the harmony version
