Hi so I’ve had my period since I was young and it’s always been irregular. I used to bleed for months straight. It was super heavy and painful. The doctor said I was anemic and “skipping ovulation”. She put me on birth control and never again addressed the issue. I recently got off of the pill (4/5 months ago) and my period is still all over the place. I don’t bleed for a long time like I used to, but my periods sometimes skip months.

Should I see my doctor again? Or a gynecologist? Am I still not ovulating? Does this mean I can’t have kids?
