7lb 2oz and 19 inches long

I woke up just past 4am on the 24th (was not due until February 11th) with strong, consistent contractions. By 6am I was starting to have bloody show, and hopped in the bath to work through the pain for an hour. Just after 7am, I got my husband out of bed and made us some toast before heading to the hospital. We arrived and checked in at the hospital at 8:20am. I was checked on arrival in L&D and to my surprise happened to be fully dilated! My doctor broke my waters and I used a labor ball for a short time to bring my baby’s head down. Then with only two big pushes, I brought my sweet new girl into the world at 10:07am, barely 6 hours after active labor began (37 weeks gestation) ❤️ no epidural 💪
