I think it gives you a pretty close approximation. My cycles are irregular but pretty consistently i get ewcm a few days before a positive opk. I actually don’t typically start ovulation testing until after i start getting ewcm anymore and i have yet to miss ovulation this way. I used to frequently miss ovulation due to my irregular cycle prior to cm monitoring.

I use OPKs and go my ewcm I tend to get the ewcm a few days before ovulation ! Just what l have  started to notice
