Do your own research on it. I would suggest not getting in the middle of that debate on here. Some people are adamantly for it and some adamantly against it which is fine but there are plenty of resources for you to become informed on your own. A lot will depend on your beliefs, your culture, etc.

My son is uncircumcised and I haven’t had any issues. It is definitely best to do your research though! Try going to yourwholebaby.org There is a link for researching parents!

I'm getting my son circumcised between 8-14 days old, when his Vitamin K will naturally be high. We opted to circumcise, because it's fairly easy for the little guys to get infection or not clean well enough and get an infection. :) Lots of info out there to research. 💚

Watch elephant in the room and then look up American stats! It’s purely cosmetic and of the baby’s born in 2020 only 50 percent go through RIC, so it’s not like your baby would be weird. I believe it’s mutilation and not my body or my choice to take away his sexual pleasure. 
Finally, in other countries they routinely circ infant girls, and it’s heartbreaking. I didn’t circ my girls and I won’t be my boy either

I’m not going to personally. The risks outweigh any benefit (which are pretty negligible) to me. It’s your decision though, read and decide for yourself. Don’t make a decision based on what everyone else is doing.

I’m not making any suggestions, I am going to be circumcising my son because my first is. I personally don’t care either way but their dad feels strongly about it, it’s so sad and I HATE it but it’s not like they are going to remember. Whatever you feel comfortable with personally though, I dont judge anyone when it comes to that decision because it’s definitely personal!

I watched a documentary on Netflix called American Circumcision and I thought it was very informative! (I think it was more on the negative but I was clueless before watching it so either way I came out with a little more knowledge)

I have two boys and one on the way. They were both circumcised and they had zero issues I plan to have my third boy circumcised as well. My only suggestion is do not watch the procedure it looks super barbaric.

I read somewhere a tip to do whatever the dad has (in cases where he’ll be around) and I thought that made a lot of sense, for later when comparing himself to daddy or for dad to help with learning the right care etc. (Not that Moms can’t do this too or that it will be a problem to have the opposite... just thought it was a helpful thing to add into the decision).
