I’m 6w5d pregnant with a history of recurrent miscarriages so I asked my doctor to order an HCG test. The first result was about 11,500 and the second (about 44 hours later) was 17,500. I was very concerned that it hadn’t doubled in almost 48 hours, but now I’m reading that after 6,000 it takes a few days to double.

I also have had some light brown spotting over the last few days and no other real pregnancy symptoms except my boobs are a little sore. Last week I was very tired but that has gone away.

I’ve had 3 miscarriages in the last 18 months so I’m extremely anxious. Can anyone relate or give any advice? Should my HCG be higher?
