Translating toddler babble

Anyone else have to translate what your toddler is saying to your husband/so?

My daughter is 22 months and speaks very well, like strings together 3-4 word sentences, but she definitely has the toddler speak where she doesn't have all the words to make a full sentence. I was answering her today and my husband asked me "how did you get that from the words she was saying" and it's just second nature to me to understand what she's saying lol. So just wanted to see if anyone else was their toddlers translator.
