I went for an appointment with a high-risk specialist who was supposed to check me because I had bleeding at my first appointment with my regular OB. At the appointment with the high-risk specialist I had to pay a $50 co-pay before the appointment started. I have an ultrasound done by the ultrasound tech and the specialist never even shows up because he was called to the hospital for a high-risk delivery. Shouldn’t I be getting my co-pay back then since I never actually saw the specialist??! He did end up calling me later on to go over my ultrasound but the whole reason I was there was for him to actually check me.. is it just me or does anyone else feel like I should get the co-pay back? Or at least applied to the next visit??
