Cpper IUD & no period

I've had my copper IUD for almost 2 years and normally my period is roughly regular and very heavy every month and it's currently 3 weeks late but I had some spotting and cramps. Just took 2 pregnancy tests and both came out negative. Just super out of character for me to be this late. Anyone else experience this?
