4-8 because my doctors visit was on day 4. Typically I think she said to start it on day 1 or 2. Apparently day 5-9 is more of an American thing while 1-5 is more European. She said the Americans think there's less risk of multiples taking it later in the cycle but she doesn't necessarily believe that. (I'm in the UAE and my ob/gyn is Maltese).

I looked online and the thinking is that when you take it earlier it stimulates more follicule a to grow as there isn't an FSH gap. When you take it later it theoretically makes the follicles larger. It seems like all theories right now with no definitive decisions made.
