I grew up in a predominantly white area I was the only black child in the whole of my primary school, I’d be constantly called out from 6-11 about the color of the my skin the N word became my “norm” 😔 until I got to 11 started high school it was predominantly Bangladeshi and Pakistani’s and I was called out regarding the color of my skin by them and weight for at least the first year of  high school and I just started fighting back, physically and verbally I literally let lose I had enough n i ended up being respected, i hated the fact people found me intimidating but I honestly couldn’t stand being made to feel different because I’m black. I’m proud to be who I am I’m a black woman ✊🏿

Yes, by both “popular kids”, boys and even my “friends.” It sucked but I’d like to say I’m somewhere between Im fine & it still effects me. I have trust issues with friends but I think it’s hilarious that the same kids who use to make funny of me and bully me have hit me up now that I’m older trying to get a date😂. Im happily married and my husband never makes me feel like crap so I’m good there.

I was homeschooled until grade 10, but I still did after school activities like Girl Scouts and dance. I wasn’t bullied there, but definitely left out because the girls all had their cliques of friends from school.
When I went to high school it was the same. Not bullied, but felt basically invisible because everyone had made friends by then and I wasn’t able to join into any of their groups without feeling like I didn’t belong.
I’m definitely over it now that I’m in my 30’s, but I don’t have any friends from high school.

I had my set of friends. 
But yeah wasn't really picked for things, kids where forced by their parents to invite me to birthday parties. 
I got more picked on in high school, names had a lollipop thrown in my hair. 
It kinda sucked but I had my friends and I knew who I was. I wasn't going to change for people I didn't care about. 
Even in college I was made fun of. And 5 years later the girl in college who picked on me in a coworker. She treads water around me and I don't care. She's got to live with her guilt and I still get to be the happy me!

I was by my family cause I’m very petite. I was always ignored everywhere I went like I didn’t exist at all in school. I don’t think anyone remembers me
