Does teething cause fever?

My 9 month old has a temperature of 100.7 he’s been very fuzzy today. I noticed him a little warm yesterday also but I just thought maybe because he had just woken up and today I decided to check his temperature since he feels warm and he’s been cranky all day. He also has all his top teeth coming in at once and his bottom teeth I’m wondering if it could be that? I’m taking him tomorrow to this doctor I’m just wondering if teething can cause fever?

My pediatrician said no, but all three times my LO has had a low grade fever, she's popped a tooth the next day and the fever was gone and no other symptoms. So I think docs just say no so they don't get sued by some idiot letting their kid go with a high fever assuming it's teething.

Doctor claims no but EVERY SINGLE TIME he breaks a tooth (he has over 12 now) he gets a fever for a day or two so

No it does not. That is an old wives tale. If your baby has a fever it is sick. Call your family doctor and ask them.

I always though yes but They say no. Every time my son was fussy and had fever as a baby he had an ear infection so I always had to take him to make sure 🤦🏼‍♀️
