Nappies (diapers)

Question

I'm thinking of using cloth nappies/diapers rather than disposable ones. What did everyone else use? Cloth, disposable or a combination of both? If you use cloth which brand do you use?

I use cloth! My husband and I absolutely love them! We use a combination between Noras Nursery ($$) and Alvababy ($) pocket diapers. My favorite inserts are Flour Sack Towels from Walmart... you can buy a pack of 10 for $7. It’s so much easier than people think! As long as you have a good wash routine (check your water hardness!) you won’t have any issues. We save so much money going this route, plus her little cloth bum is so cute. :)

I'm going to guess and say your not American since you called them nappies, so if you are in the UK
I'd highly recommend little lamb nappies, they have a choice of 3 types and do a 6 week trial with a money back guarantee.
Also have a look to see if there's any nappy library's in your area. 
I didn't start using them till 7 months when my daughter was on solids just cause disposables were easier to tell if she wee'd. But I'd definitely use reusable from birth if we have another one. 
My daughter never gets nappy rash now and it probably only takes 20/30 mins every couple of days to wash and fold the dry ones.
