How did you get your baby to sleep in their crib?

Our girl is 5 months old and she sleeps in the bassinet in our room.

But she’s beginning to get to be too big for it. So we are starting the process to move her into her crib in her room.

We just want to start with naps in the crib and still sleep in our room at least for another month.

I’m going through all the same steps that we do for her nap routine in her crib as we do her bassinet, but she is just crying and crying. And she won’t fall asleep in it.

What’s more is that the crib feels so big and it’s wooden. She pushes herself to the edges where the slats are and I worry that she’s going to hurt herself. She won’t stay center in the crib and she sleeps on her stomach
