Is ovualtion based off cm ??

Hey everyone so I was supposed to be ovulating today but my period has been off past months I think due to stress since I haven’t had sex since oct I usually get eggwhite cm and haven’t gotten it should I worry ?

No, CM aren’t necessarily the only thing to determine our ovulation. however you should be tracking using Ovulation strips. 
I talked to my OBGYN who is a fertility specialist, I was getting high surges on strips but never had the stretchy cervical mucus, she said that didn’t matter. CM just helps the sperm stick and swim, long as you release an egg you’re good
Since your period has been off, don’t just rely on the cervical mucus, use the strips
