I had gotten my hair by this women's salon for the longest time. I found her on Facebook and I've been going to her to get my hair done ever since. I wanted some crochet done so I went up there. I was up there and so was another girl. She was getting her weave taken out. Just seeing it, it looked so bad. The women asked her how long she had it in and she said 10 months. I was grossed out but I didn't say anything because thats not my place. I was just waiting until it was my turn. The girl doing her hair asks why she kept it in so long and the girl starts talking about how she had a baby and had really bad postpartum depression and 7 months ago her husband died so she was a single widow mother and with that on top of postpartum she stopped taking care of herself. She starts crying and I feel bad and kind of join in the conversation and say its gonna get better. I see the girl doing her hair taking pictures. I didn't think anything of it. Eventually the girl asked if she could just cut it off so she can start over and her hair can grow back healthy so thats what they did. Girl leaves and I again tell her it will get better. I'm getting my crochet and some other girl comes in and the hair girl starts talking shit on the first girl. Saying how nasty she is and even showing pictures she took on her phone. And the owner is joining in! Now they are laughing about her and talking about her to another cust and not even mentioning she had postpartum and her husband died. I know some women just don't care about hygiene and will let their weave get nasty and stuff because they don't care, but she has legit issues and to talk about her like that when she's struggling is just gross. I'm never going back their again!
