Will you be getting the covid vaccine while pregnant?

I’m stressing over covid!!😬 I really want to be healthy to care for my baby. I’m just wondering if covid vaccine is safe while pregnant. I work in a school with special needs kiddos that do not wear a mask/cover their nose when they sneeze. I wear a face shield and mask but I’ve had nightmares that I get sick and can’t care for my baby.

I got Covid while 5-7 weeks pregnant. It sucked but nothing happened to my peanut. Looks healthy and happy! I’m also a teacher and I’m pretty sure I got it at school or church.

I saw a nurse got it at 14 weeks had a miscarriage right after she received it. 14 in a half weeks.. she made a statement she regretted getting the vaccine.

I’ve been told to get it, but I’ve been told also to not get it, both by trusted doctors. I’ve already had it, so I’m trying to be more careful. I just want more studies to be done and more information available before I but my baby at risk.

I teach in a mod severe class. I chose to get it after I did a ton of research and for the same reasons you listed. Our students don’t mask or distance and we are often close with them changing, feeding, or administering medication. I made the best decision I could with the info I had. My dr also told me to go ahead and get the 2nd vaccine as well, so I am.

I got my first dose a week and a half ago when I was 8 weeks, so far so good!

I also work in a school, and I have decided to get it. My husband works in the same school, and I have a toddler that is with other kids all day, so I prefer knowing that I will be safe.

I won't be getting it because pregnant women are not a part of testing trials because it really is inhumane. And there is not enough study to support the lack of adverse effects on the fetus and even if there were you wouldn't find out until after the baby was born and there could be developmental issues directly related to it and which there would be no recourse for it.
I work from home therefore it is a calculator risk I am willing to take. Everybody scenario is different but the risk Is not great enough for me to take the risk of a untested brand new vaccine on my first child. So I will not be taking it maybe after I deliver and maybe after a year or so and some studies have been released but definitely not why my child is in the womb.

I’m not getting it but I’m also breastfeeding and have the option to be home with my kiddos.  So I’m in a very low risk environment.  Taking lots of precautions
