Now that I’m done breastfeeding, I want to switch to the combo pill as it’s more effective and I won’t have to worry as much.

I called my doctor and he wrote a prescription for me that I’ll be able to pick up on Wednesday.

I forgot to ask him, but thought someone on here might be able to help!

Can I switch from one pill to the other right away? Should I wait for my period to start? Should I wait for my next period to end and then start? Should I stop the mini pill for a couple days before I switch?

My husband and I will still be using condoms as well for a couple weeks when I switch regardless.
