Reoccurring BV. I take the probiotics. I’ve used the boric acid suppositories like he’s suggested. I’ve seen my gyno countless times. We found a plan that WORKED. While I was using metro gel twice a week for 6 months strait. I came off of it 4days ago. Had sex yesterday morning. And guess what? BV came back immediately with the foul smelling discharge. Me and my husband are at our whits end. There’s nothing they can give him and he’s clean. So am I other than this fucking infection that never seems to go away. The “treatment”was quite aggressive according to my gyno. And it typically works for most women. It wasn’t a guarantee to fix it. But fuck. WE CANT HAVE SEX AT ALL WITHOUT BV COMING BACK. Condoms or not. He even stopped my birth control for a month(nuvaring) to see if that was maybe an issue. Even my period will start a flare up. So what in the actual fuck am I supposed to do? Nothing has changed. The only thing the doctors can tell me is “your husbands Ph is slightly higher than yours and it messes with the sensitivity down there” SO WHAT? Are we not supposed to have sex? Even with condoms it still happens. This isn’t healthy. Idk of this is important but my paps have came back normal as well. Any ideas? Because I’m so so tired of feeling and smelling gross. Even though I can’t control it unless I stay on meds forever
