I got off birth control in August of 2020. In December I got put on the estrogen pill to get my period back. December and January I only had spotting. But I got my period yesterday and it's very heavy, I've been using tampons. But I'm cramping more and it's horrible. I havent had a full period in 4.5 years. Is this what period cramps are like? Or is the tampon making me cramp? I'm freaked out. I rather use tampons but I don't know if that's why I'm cramping so bad.
