Hi! I have horrible PMDD that takes me to a very dark place for 1.5 to 2 weeks a month. My hormones are so out of control during that time that I become very deeply depressed, angry and suicidal.

I know I didn't do well on ortho-tricyclen lo, and depo and the mini pill. I've also been on loestrin-Fe but it didn't help. I think I need something with estrogen.

I'm leaning towards trying a continuous birth control pill, but do any PMDD sufferers have specific recommendations for something that provides them relief?

Or really, any advice about anything that you find helpful for managing PMDD.
