​I was in the 4th grade and remember it like it was yesterday. I came home from school and used the bathroom, when I wiped I saw blood and thought I broke my vagina. I called my mom and told her what happened and she rushed home from work, called my dad when she got home and before the night ended the whole family knew. She gave me these huge pads and I looked at her crazy because my panties were only so big and asked her if they had kiddy pads. She thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. She ended up writing my teacher a note stating that I started my cycle and she too ended up having a mini convo with me.
